A kiss

My friend Lily posted her comments on kissing day by Robert Burns poetry. Can't hide it only for myself. I want to share with this vibrating poetry with you too. Thank you, Lily! Hugs!

To a kiss.
Robert Burns

Humid seal of soft affections,
Tend’rest pledge of future bliss,
Dearest tie of young connections,
Love’s first snow-drop, virgin kiss.
Speaking silence, dumb confession,
Passion’s birth, and infants’ play,
Dove-like fondness, chaste concession,
Glowing dawn of brighter day.
Sorrowing joy, adieu’s last action,
Ling’ring lips, - no more to join!
What words can ever speak affection
Thrilling and sincere as thine!

More than fashion

Antropologie is more than fashion. It is about the life style and being yourself, wearing what you really want, being fabulous and in trend in the comfortable clothes.

Movie of the week

Can't explain my feelings. You must see the movie. Never think that you can lie to a child.

Tips for a female boss

The world and all laws were established by men. That is why, to my mind, being a woman is hard especially if you are a boss in a company with men staff. They try to ignore you, not to pay any attention to your activities and show you their superiority. But the truth is that you should know it is just a game. The game would finish soon. Be calm, strong and wait...

Book club

A year ago I met a wonderful girl in London. We spent a lot of time together and had a lot of fun. It's a fantastic thing that we became close friends in spite of the fact that we were only several weeks togerher and now we live in different countries. I promised her to organize a book club and discuss interesting books we've read.
Let's start with Graham Greene's "Our Man in Havana". According to my point of view everybody should read it to understand the mechanisms of our society.

Places I like to visit

Do we always need to be in civilization? When I visited the Amish people in Pennsylvania for the first time I was shoked by their life style. It seemed for me as a nonsence to live without all modern welfares but now I thrist for living without my cell phone even a single day.

David Sanborn & Friends - People Make The World Go Round

There are some people among us that change the world in their day-by-day life. They usually don't notice it. It's something like the life style, something like being ready to change and be changeable with an open mind to new challenges.

Happy kissing day!

Today is a fantastic holiday! July 6 is the International Kissing Day. Holiday was set in the United Kingdom for the first time. Two decades ago it was adopted by the UNO. The day is not only to kiss and share love, tenderness with your lovely ones but to show your external expression of your deep internal impression to all people you love and adore.

My husband's gaspacho recipe

Have I told you that I am a lucky woman - my husband is fond of cooking. He prepares a lot of delicious meals and treats me well. Gaspacho soup is his summer hit. He spent a month in Andalucia (Spain) in the last year and was taught by local people how to prepare the real andalucian gaspacho!
Ingredients: 8 sweet tomatoes, 1 sweet red peper, 250 grams of bread, 1 onion, 1/2 of a garlic clove, ice, 250 ml of cold water , 1/4 cup of apple vinegar, 1/3 cup of  sunflower-seed oil.
Method: wash all ingredients, cut tomatoes, a peper and an onion in pieces, crush a garlic clove. Put all ingredients into a big pan, add oil, vinegar, some salt and sugar. Add some water. Mix the mixture of vegetables thoroughly by a blender. Serve the soup as you want. Bon appetit!
P.S. My husband's comments: you should be careful with a garlic, don't add more than 1/2 of a clove otherwise you would prepare russian tomato cream known as "hrenovina".

Enjoy my husband's photo of his last gaspacho.

Inspiration for myself

I have classes of Body Combat twice a week to keep myself strong and slim. The truth is that it helps me to form the stronger character more than the body.

Thinking pink!

One of my colleagues best freind died of a breast cancer yesterday. She was diagnosed a year ago but she declined to have any official treatment as the surgery, gamma and chemotherapy. She put absolute trust in some unknown super drug not registered in any country. With the use of official treatment she would have a chance, with the drug she had only vain hopes.
80% of these women live at least five years after the treatment, most longer, and many live much longer. Even women with signs of cancer metastases can live a long time. Don't take your own life off! Think pink!

Places I love

There are some special places in the world where I love to be. Hamstead (London) is one of them. I cherish the warmest memories about the cozy streets, walking in the Hamstead Heath Park and Highgate Cemetary, open-air concerts on the slope of the Kenwood House and the life style of people living there. Hamstead is the place where you can have fresh milk in glass vintage bottles every morning from a local milk farm.
Enjoy my photos made in the last summer.
