Green living

Inspired by the use of green vertical walls and exhausted by heat, stuffiness and a city, I would like to have some cool and relaxing place even a roof, but a roof where I can enjoy the sights and smells of flowers, fresh grass and warm ground...

Kitchen

I am thinking how to organize my new kitchen. I don't spend much time there but I want to have comfortable space and combine it with our dining room. The tip is to use the space near a window  in a productive way to enjoy easy compartmentalization. I hate this word but I need to be compartmetalized because I am short in a living space especially in my future kitchen.

Cooling Mojito

The hot summer is killing me. I feel mysels boiled and stupid. Mojito and Gaspacho are two things that I can drink and eat.
Ingredients for Mojito: 2 large sprig spearmint, couple wedges of juicy lime, 2 tea spoon of sugar, 2 oz white rum, ice – crushed is best, small cubed is okay too, club soda.
Place a sprig worth of mint leaves, sugar, and a wedge of lime in a tall glass. Tall highball glass preferred. Add crushed ice, rum, and stir well to dissolve sugar to your liking. Top off with club soda and stir lightly to incorporate. Garnish with fresh sprig of mint and an wheel of lime.

Remember time

You can have spectacular clocks to remember time for your contemporary home decor. I am so delighted with modern simplicity of the clocks found on http://www.chiasso.com/ .

Frameless

I don't like limitations in my life. I prefer boudless space and endless sky. That is why I don't like window casements. If I can I would like to have glassy walls without any frames.

Being a child

It’s so nice to be a child. You can do everything you want and don’t think what will happen. You have pure emotions and pure happiness. Every single day is long and endless as a whole life and full of adventures. In that time you don’t know about lie and treason. You don’t care about fashion, future career and husband’s lovers. You just live and enjoy life. Try to keep a child somewhere deep in your soul! Try to find a force to remember your childhood emotions and not to be shy to show them in day-to-day life!

Enjoy the photos of the happy children made by me in London.

Happy Friday

Today is a fantastic day full of interesting meetings with bright people. I'll cherish the warmest memories about this sweet Friday. Happy Friday to you too!

Enjoy summer

I do like the vintage-inspired dresses. Summer is a time when you can try all of them. Find more on http://www.modcloth.com/.

Green living

I don't like flowerports. The use of green vertical walls inspired me to find something for my future apartment. Hope the construction is not so difficult to establish and use.

Green living

Being a vegetarian is not so boring. In this hot summer time you can try something light and green as a green soup.

You will need 1 yellow onion, 3 medium-sized zucchinis, 2 parsnips, 3.5 oz fava beans, shelled (frozen when not fresh), salt and pepper, fresh coriander, olive oil, 3 cups water, a few pink radishes.

To prepare the soup, take a large thick-bottomed pot and cook the onion in 2 Tbsp olive oil for a few min. Peel the parsnips. Wash the zucchinis and dice all vegetables coarsely. Add them to the onions and cook for 5 min. Cover with the water and continue to cook for 20 min, or until all vegetables are tender. Add the fava beans and continue to cook for 5 min. Mix your soup with a hand mixer or food processor. Add the chopped coriander, and season with salt and pepper. Serve with a grated pink radish (and cream if you like).

You see it is very easy to prepare. Bon appetit!

Portrait

Yesterday I found a little girl's portrait painted by Lisa Golightly. It's so unusual but she looks like me. I was so astonished to find my portrait. As the girl in a yellow dress I am waiting impatiently for something new and special in my life, for something that will change my life cardinally, for something that will inspire me long after, for something that will never be over, for something that...

Modern house

This modern white sea house is an example of modern simplicity and elegancy. It was put up by Takao Shiotsuka Atelier in Japan and is a 237 sq m two-floors white buildng with a shape that spreads gently towards the sea. Painted in white, with extremely large windows that allow sun-rays inside and a modern but minimalist interior, it’s a stunning piece of design.

Green living

I hate to spend a summer in a city. I always feel myself as embedded in asphalt, concrete and glass. I usually suffocate from  stuffy air and dream about going to some greener place. But it possible to do our staying more comfortable in a big city by using green technologies as green vertical walls. Why not to use them in underground stations, pedestrian subways and building walls?

Kingdom - Plantae, Unranked - Angiosperms, Order - Brassicales, Family- Resedaceae, Genus - Reseda, Species - Reseda alba, Reseda lutea, Reseda complicata, Reseda glaucous, Reseda odorata, Reseda phyteuma, Reseda scoparia... About 50-70 species.

Latin name Reseda means "to calm or appease," and refers to the fact that the plant was employed by the Romans in treating bruises.

It is native to Europe, Asia, and North Africa, and it can be found in parts of the Americas and Australia. It is also cultivated as an ornamental plant for its spikelike racemes of fragrant white flowers. This is an annual or perennial herb growing up to a meter tall. The leaves are divided deeply into many narrow lobes. The inflorescence, which may take up most of the upper stem, is densely packed with many white flowers. Each flower has five or six petals, each of which is divided into three long, narrow lobes, making the raceme appear frilly. The fruit is a nearly rectangular four-angled capsule up to 1.4 centimeters in length.
